On 10th and 11th September 2016 ODISA APCON 16，
。。Odisha state conference of Indian Association of Pathologists and
Microbiologis for the year 2016 was organised at IGH, Rourkela. Dr
Sanghamitra Satpathi was the organising secretary, Dr RRPanda org.
Chairman, Dr Prativa K Behera Jt org secy, Dr Aruna M Minz Treasurer
with Dr A K Singh as Patron of the conference. 150 delegates attended
the conference. Professor Siddhartha Duttagupta from AIIMS, New Dehli
with his assistant prof Dr Prasenjit Das conducted a preconferrence CME
cum workshop on GI Pathology on 10th Sep. explaining &
discussing 27 slides. The conference was on 11th Sep. Prof Bidyut prava
Das moderated a slide seminar on Endometrial lesions. Ten faculties from
different Medical Colleges of Odisa discussed their interesting cases.
Dr Aruna from IGH participated in this seminar. Prof Duttagupta gave the
Odisha chapter Oration on Celiac Disease. 50 oral papers & 26
posters ware presented by PG students from different colleges. The
conference was a grand success.
