Dr. Nimai Charan Nanda joined SAIL on 7-10-83 at Kalta, In 1987 he was transfered to OHS Center. After 2 years and following the resignation of Dr. BK Bhuyan , he was transfered to Paed dept. He worked in the Dept of Paediatrics in IGH was promoted to the post of Joint Director in 2007,and was its HOD from Feb ,2007 following retirement of Dr. RN Satpathy. He remained 9 .& 1/2 years asJD & HOD Paed and superanuated on 30-6-16 . Dr. Nanda has decided to move out to Bhubaneswar to settle down there in a couple of months time. A very popular man particularly among collegues and socially and economically backward parents of his patients Dr. NC Nanda will be highly missed by the Rourkela collective as an empathetic Paediatrician.
