Dr BS Dash joined in August 1969. Worked in Fertilizer hospital for 5 years, Purnapanui hospital for 3 years and then in IGH. Served as TA to Director for a long period. It won't be out of place to mention that he was at the pinnacle of services along with Dr. BM Patnaik when Dr. B Das was the Director of IGH. Is known for his simplicity and sincerity. He served Casuality of IGH for 1 year before his superannuation on 29.02.2004. He passed away on 15th April 2016 in the ICU after a brief illness and will be missed by a lot of people in Rourkela apart from his friends and family members.
