A week long programme to promote the well being of newborn babies wss conducted by the Family Welfare Department of IGH in active support from Department of Pediatrics and Coporate Social Rsponsibility. It was inaugurated by the Director I/C of Medical & Health Services on 15th November 2007. Here village level health workers are being refreshed about their knowledge on new born babies by Dr. N C Nanda, Head of Pediatrics. The programme was conducted in villages on other days of the week.
