This photograph was made available to Dr. SK Mishra by an old stalwart Dr. JB Mitra who joined this hospital in 1962. According to Dr. Mitra, IGH started functioning in its current place in 1959. And doctors from Germany also used to work as a good number of Germans used to work for the plant. This photograph was taken sometimes in 1962-63. Dr. Mitra has been able to identify most of the doctors by name- list given below.

Guest Lecture: Dr. Ashish Joshi from Asian Institute of Public Health, Bhubaneswar

Originally a man from Internal Medicine, Dr. Joshi shifted gear to Public Health in the USA with a view to make some contribution in India and took the opportunity of joining the Asian Institute of Public Health, Bhubaneswar with Dr. Pinaki Panigrahi where he works as an Associate Professor. He scuffles between the US and India as he continues to work for Maryland Unversity.
