OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH DAY CELEBRATION

“National Occupational Health Day” Celebration was organized at IGH New Conference Hall by Indian Association of Occupational Health, Odisha Branch, Rourkela. Doctors, staffs of IGH and OHSC were present in this programme. At the outset welcome address was given by Dr.T.Misra Sr.Dy.Director I/C (OHSC) & Secretary IAOH Odisa Branch. In the inaugural address Dr S K Mishra , Director I/C,(M & HS) said the aims of occupational health and he felicitated Dr P.K. Nanda(retired Jt Director of IGH) on this occasion & he stressed upon specific additional training in different situations. Dr B .B.Rao, Director (M&HS) said about the theme of the day. Dr.P.K. Mohapatra Sr Consultant (Medicine) gave a presentation on diagnosis and management of HEPATITIS B infection and Dr(Mrs) Sonia Joshi Sr.Consultant (Ophth) also presented on COMPUTER VISION SYNDROME. Lastly vote of thanks was given by Dr.CM Rao ,Jt.Dir. (Pulmonary Med.). The programme was anchored by Dr Liza Deo.
