Craniosynostosis (bubble skull) affects pediatric age group patients. If detected early, before brain suffers permanent damage, the child usually grows normally. When reported late decompressive surgery no more helps brain function to recover. Here is an interesting skiagram of the skull of such a child who presented late in our hospital. Image shows bubble appearance but nothing more could be done for the child.
