She was brought to IGH from Bhilai towards the later part of 2004 when there was a void in the Department of Psychiatry and this charismatic and flamboyant lady made her mark within the last half decade both as a Psychiatrist and human being. Very sincere to her assigned work, Dr. Mrs Shail Verma was also greatly admired by her patients and colleagues. She tried hard for the improvement of her department and was successful on many counts. Her husband Mr. Verma has already superannuated as a DGM from Bhilai Steel Plant and both her children are well settled in the US with their respective families. Friends and colleagues wished a hearty post-retirement life for the Vermas.
