Both Dr. Mohanty and Dr. Patra superannuated on 30th September after putting up more than 3 decades of service to the institution. A good number of doctors turned up to a small send-off meeting held in the Physiotherapy hall of IGH on 29th September afternoon. The ever-smiling and sauve Dr. A K Mohanty always provided both back-bone and consultancy services in the department of Internal Medicine and Dr. S C Patra was an epitome of customer satisfaction in both Anaesthesia and Critical Care.
