Dr. D P Roy
He was once a house-hold name in Rourkela for his surgical skills in IGH. Dr. D P Roy superannuated way back in 1993 and is happily settled with family at Chhend, Rourkela. Dr. Roy is probably the one person who has not taken up surgery after his retirement from IGH. He was in hospital recently in connection with the surgery of his elder son.
