This health camp for poor people was conducted at the instance of another ex-doctor of IGH, Dr. S S Chand. He knew that he would have become the Director of the Medical Services of SAIL, RSP in due course but resigned his post some one and half decade back to don the saffron robe to become a full-time Kriya Yogi and ascetic and serve the people better. Much revered and adored, His Holiness Swami Atmanandaji Maharaj conducts a bi-weekly clinic in Kriya Yoga Dhyana Kendra for the poor people through out the year and conducts a health camp annually.
