Dr. BS Dash passes away
Dr BS Dash joined in August 1969. Worked in Fertilizer hospital for 5 years, Purnapanui hospital for 3 years and then in IGH. Served as TA to Director for a long period. It won't be out of place to mention that he was at the pinnacle of services along with Dr. BM Patnaik when Dr. B Das was the Director of IGH. Is known for his simplicity and sincerity. He served Casuality of IGH for 1 year before his superannuation on 29.02.2004. He passed away on 15th April 2016 in the ICU after a brief illness and will be missed by a lot of people in Rourkela apart from his friends and family members. He is survived by his wife and daughter who are settled in Rourkela and son who is settled in the USA. Contributed by Dr. Sanghamitra Satpathy and Dr. Anil K Dutt.
