Dr. B S Das delivered a talk on "Clinical Research- An overview" to IGH collective on 31st July. This was don with particular emphasis in defining different research methodologies for the benefit of the 30 odd DNB candidates.

Dr. B S Das, our Ex-colleague who later shifted as an Advisor to Dept. of Bio-technology, Govt. of India and remains an Emeritus Scientist of Indian Council of Medical Research has been a constant source of inspiration for many research projects in IGH, particularly in Malaria. He has been a mentor to many the current group of researchrs in our hospital. He visited Rourkela from 29th to 31st July 2007.

A seminar on Oral Rehydrating Solutions was held at Nursing Training Institute in IGH on 27th July for nursing students under the auspices of IAP, Rourkela Chapter.
