IGH condoles the sad demise of Dr. Kabi Prasad Mishra

Dr. Kabi Prasad Mishra passed away on 15th March at Cuttack and Roukela lost one of its best known lovers. One of the stalwarts who worked in IGH during the very young days of the institution, many people in Rourkela talked of Dr. Mishra's days in Rourkela. The city witnessed many condolence meetings in honour of Dr. Mishra. In such a meeting in IGH, two of the stalwarts Dr. JB Mitra and Dr. Garg who had the distinction of working with Dr. KP Mishra paid their tributes.

IGH Canteen Inaugurated

A very long standing demand by the staff of IGH and a genuine need since inception of the hospital more than 50 years back was fulfilled today. Our CEO, Sri GS Prasad inaugurated a canteen named IGH Coffee House to be run by Indian Coffee House in the hospital premises. It will cater to the needs of the staff and the attendants of patients.

Our CEO inaugurates Project Charaka

In order to help people with surgical problems-detected in camps conducted through our CSR projects- our CEO Sri GS Prasad inaugurated Project Charaka in IGH today. Through this project the detected patients requiring surgery will be offered free treatment in Ispat General Hospital.
