Sister RP Tete, Sri Dibakar Gochhayat, Mrs. Sukanti Mohapatra and Sri Sahadev Behera superannuate on 31st January 2012. Sri Gochhayat didn't turn up for the farewel function for personal problems.

Badminton Festival in IGH ends

In the concluding ceremony on 21st January 2012 evening Sri Dipankar Basu, ED (P&A) along with Dr.SK Mishra, Director I/C and Dr.SK Dutta Roy -a distinguished footballer of the State who served IGH as a surgeon- the guest of honour distributed prizes to winners from among the IGH collective. The tournament was coducted among all employees of IGH and was fully supervised by Sri Rabi Panda, DGM (Personnel) and his team.

This booklet of scientific contribution from Ispat General Hospital was metculously concieved and compiled by Dr. S S Pati of Department of Biochemistry and was published by IMA Rourkela Branch with help from "SANKALPA" a voluntary and social organisation that works health & enviornment. Dr. JK Patnaik felicitated

In a solemn function, Dr. JK Patnaik, the Ex-Joint Director of Ispat General Hospital whose article in Am J Trop Med Hyg 1994 Nov 51(5) 642-7 titled Vascular clogging, mononuclear cell margination and enhanced vascular permeability in the pathogenesis of human cerebral malaria as the lead author and Das BS, Mishra SK, Mohanty S, Satpathy SK and Mohanty D as co-authors has been cited more than 100 times in many leading medical journals was felicitated in a function on 13th January 2012 by Sri R K Nehru, ED(MM).
