Dr. Bijoy K Naik

Dr. Bijoy Kumar Naik is only a very few of real natives from Sundargarh District who served IGH in a career spanning nearly 35 years. A true son of the soil, Dr. Naik had the uncanny habit of helping his own villagers and tribes men in IGH who often were non-entitled patients with little or no money to bear the treatment costs. The charges were often born by his writing an undertaking to the company to deduct the amount from his salary. Though he did his specialisation in General Surgery relatively late, he rose to become a model grafter of skin in the Burns & Plastic Unit he headed till super-annuation.
