Dr. Shilabhadra Patnaik superannuates

Dr. Shilabhadra Patnaik, after serving SAIL hospitals for more than 35 years in its Mines hospitals in Chiria, OHS Centre, Rourkela and Fertiliser Hospital(Now called Sector-22 Hospital)was given a warm farewell on 31st March 2008. His graceful wife was also kind to have attended the function where friends ,colleagues and administrators wished the Patnaiks who hail from one of Orissa's culturally glorious families a very peaceful and happy retirement. World Tuberculosis Day

Though the day was observed a couple of days earlier, a seminar on "Diabetes and Tuberculosis" was held on 27th March 2008 in IGH. The topic was largely dealt by Dr. S Mohapatra from the Dept. of Medicine and the session was moderated by Dr. D P Arya, FRCP, a renowned cardiologist and physician from Ranchi. Both Dr. Mohapatra and Dr. Arya stressed more on basics of management of this atypical condition for the benefit of DNB candidates in the presence of our Director & Director I/C.
